Founded in 1907, the science-based Imperial College London is consistently rated as one of the world’s top university institutions.
In 2014 the College created the Data Science Institute (DSI) in response to a world where both economics and society itself have embraced the digital age. Understanding the vast amounts of data now available, also known as Big Data, is a crucial step towards better understanding the new world we live in.
WorleyParsons, along with Advisian and Digital Enterprise, are pleased to announce we are sponsoring a PhD studentship with the DSI to study the Social and Economic Impacts of Data Science. Starting in October 2017, the 3.5-year program will see the successful candidate collaborate with our teams, learning from their advanced technical know-how, along with researchers and other allied organisations at the DSI.
