The Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company TAKREER, trading as ADNOC Refining, has awarded Advisian, part of the Worley Group, a consultancy study to increase the processing capability at Ruwais East Refinery located near Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
The objective of the study is to identify limitations and improvements necessary to increase the refinery condensate treatment capacity as well as introduce additional feedstocks. As part of the study, Advisian will also test and analyze multiple samples of feedstock to propose the operating philosophy to eliminate existing fouling issues.
Advisian secured the award by offering an exceptional combination of technical expertise from their Madrid office and in-country knowledge from the local Abu Dhabi team.
The requirement for expanding the capacity at the Ruwais East Refinery is due to the planned phase out of the Abu Dhabi Refinery.
